AutoDoc allows you to generate documents for your software using the power of AI. The client had developed a Django API that would perform the AI based task of generating documents, and was in need of a developer to build a Bubble App to communicate with that API. My task was to deploy the client’s API onto an EC2 instance, and then to build an entire Bubble web app around it according to the given requirements. The designs were also provided by the client. The app involved:
- 6 external API Integrations (GitHub being the main one)
- Algolia powered search functionality (to search through documents)
- Usage of S3 bucket as a second database (this one was tricky)
- A lot of custom JavaScript (to accomplish tasks that just weren’t possible in Bubble.io)
- Conversion of provided Figma designs into responsive Bubble pages (I made sure they were pixel perfect)
- Creating detailed documentation (30+ Pages) explaining how the app was structured allowing the client to make any changes in the future himself.
